Tailor-made wind studies
WIND my ROOF helps companies and local authorities assess the wind potential of rooftops through in-depth wind studies. Our calculation and simulation tools enable us to analyze each building in its complex environment.
Taking into account nearby obstacles and 12 years of meteorological data, these studies enable us to predict the production of renewable electricity from rooftops on an hourly, daily, monthly or annual basis.
The analysis can be carried out at the scale of a territory, a district or a building, and can be used to optimize the occupation of empty roof spaces.
Precision or nothing
Since 2018, WIND my ROOF has been working with CEREA (Centre d'Enseignement et de Recherche en Environnement Atmosphérique) for its wind studies and atmospheric simulations. This joint laboratory between EDF and École des Ponts is developing code_saturne, a calculation code dedicated to atmospheric flows.
WIND my ROOF uses Meteoblue data to calculate electricity production.
