A wind turbine start-up with a team in the wind

WIND my ROOF was created in 2018 by Antoine Brichot and Yanis Maacha while they were studying mechanics at the Ecole des Ponts. This wind start-up was structured around R&D for 3 years, with the iterative design of several modules.

L’année 2020 marque un tournant pour Antoine et Yanis, qui réalisent une levée de fonds et embauchent leurs premiers employés. L’équipe installe également deux modules à La Défense pour tester pendant 1 an le module de production éolien.

Forte de cette expérimentation réussie, WIND my ROOF prépare depuis son industrialisation avec des partenaires français. Les cent premiers modules WindBox® seront prêts à être déployés fin 2021, avec de beaux projets pilotes début 2022 !

The year 2020 marks a turning point for Antoine and Yanis, who raise funds and hire their first employees. The team also installs two modules at La Défense to test the wind production module for a year.
On the strength of this successful experiment, WIND my ROOF has since been preparing its industrialisation with French partners. The first hundred WindBox® modules will be ready for deployment at the end of 2021, with beautiful pilot projects in early 2022!
