A new kind of wind turbine
Antoine Brichot and Yanis Maacha founded WIND my ROOF in 2018. This Ile-de-France-based start-up offers a decentralized electricity solution using wind power, to increase the energy autonomy of buildings and reduce their CO2 emissions. A project in tune with the times, implemented with the help of Siemens simulation solutions.

Start-up Wind my Roof ready to deploy its cubic wind turbines on rooftops
The technology developed by this Ile-de-France start-up bears no resemblance to a conventional wind turbine. There's no mast, no big blades. The Paris-based company has designed a new kind of wind turbine, adapted to urban environments. It takes the form of a 4m2 box, incorporating a small turbine, which attaches to the edge of flat building roofs.

Grand Prix 2019 awarded to Mobius and Wind my roof, two promising innovations in the art of building
On December 4, 2019, the Fondation du Conservatoire national des arts et métiers (Cnam) awarded the Grand Prix Charles-Henri Besnard to Mobius and Wind my roof, two promising innovations in the art of building. At the ceremony held at the Cnam, the two winners were awarded the joint first prize, worth €25,000 each, to finance the realization of their project.
